Cape Town will be the center of attention on Friday for the highly anticipated World Cup Draw. Celebrities will be on hand to bring some Hollywood glamour to the event.

Former footballers will be in attendance, such as Michel Platini, Franz Beckenbauer and Roger Milla along with athletes David Beckham (who is hoping for a spot on the England squad), runner Haile Gebrselassie and Makhaya Ntini. Nobel Peace Price winners Desmond Tutu and F.W. de Klerk will make an appearance, and even the 112 Miss World contestants will be present.

Charlize Theron, a native of South Africa, will serve as guest presenter and will help FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke during the Draw on Friday.

“This is a very important event for football and Africa as the Final Draw comes to Cape Town where an unprecedented six teams from the host continent will be represented. We expect a record global audience which I hope will be glued to their screens for the duration of the show.”

Nelson Mandela, who is now 91 years old and is rarely shown in public, will speak to the crowd via video message.

Reports of an estimated 250 million people are expected to watch the World Cup Draw on TV, (bookmark this page, we plan on having the live feed here as well) where soccer fans will finally find out what countries will face each other during the opening round of the 2010 World Cup, which will take place June 11 through July 11 in South Africa.

Top seeds were announced today by FIFA, watch the video to get more details. Knowing who is on the World Cup Draw celebrities list, will you be watching on Friday? Or who really cares what celebs will be on hand? See pictures below.
