For Whitney Isleib, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, her Lil Wayne Blackface Halloween costume pics have popped up all over the ‘net and now she finds herself surrounded in controversy over them.
Whitney allegedly attended a Halloween party dressed as Lil Wayne in blackface, the pictures were posted on her Facebook page, and then the folks over at Deadspin leaked ‘em.
Brett Daniels, spokesman for the Dallas Cowboys, said on Monday:
“We are aware of the images and we are handling it internally.”
Isleib, who is in her second year as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, has since removed her Facebook page.
Some fans don’t understand what the big deal is, since it was Halloween, while others feel that since she represents ‘America’s Team‘, better judgment should have been used on her part.
Here’s what we know about Whitney Isleib. According to her bio page, she’s 21 years old and is from Friendswood, Texas. She is the youngest of five sisters and a brother. She lists Troy Aikman as her all-time favorite Cowboy, and musically she’s a Country and Hip Hop fan. In her spare time, she loves hanging with friends and family and rock climbing. She can wear what she wants. But should not have posted it on facebook. She is representing americas team. In tryouts they were always told watch what u post on websites. Some might get offended others wont. I am not offened. Its just that Its not fair when others try out they are told you are representing the team so act accordingly. I think she should sit out a few games till it passes over. ANd dont go to Jerry Jones over this.

While I personally think you are representing a team, You are also dressing up for Halloween, Which everyone does.. I dont think she should be punished for dressing like lil wayne..Does he find it offensive?? I think she should be left alone and stop making a big deal on something so ridiculous…

Really..This is soo stupid! It was a Halloween Costume! I find it ironic that movies like White Chicks(who have the Wayans brothers in “whiteface”) is funny but someone dressing in blackface for Halloween is wrong! This woman should not even be in the news nor should she be punished by the Cowboys Team!

I really think that we need to let people be. I would hope that Lil Wayne would be flattered that she wanted to dress up like him…She is way hotter after all. No offense. It was a costume party. So we can’t dress like an Indian, or a Cowboy, or a cheerleader,or a white chick, or anything else now because we are supposed to be afraid we are going to offend somebody. How did we become a world of victims. Can’t we just have a little harmless fun without somebody making something of nothing.

What about when Tyra Banks dressed up as Paris Hilton? It was funny as hell…what’s wrong with this?? And I agree…”White Chicks” was funny…why is THIS causing a fuss?
