Before this season began it seemed like every MMA fan had an opinion on how Kimbo Slice would fair against properly trained fighters. However, it wasn’t too long before fans got their answer, which was, not well. This is in spite of the fact that the backyard brawler has the build a Spartan warrior, the tenacity of a tiger, and a go get um type of attitude. To put it plain and simple, Kimbo is a beast of a brawler, but is just lacking in technique. Just wait a year or two (maybe even sooner) he’ll get it!

Now that Slice is out of the equation fans are trying to figure out, who will end up winning the UFC contract that is up for grabs. To tell you the truth the question is easier asked than answered. Each fighter chosen for the show had to go through an extensive audition, while competing against 250+ other heavyweights for a spot on the Spike TV program. So yeah, all of them are pretty darn good!

The list of Mixed Martial Arts specialists looks something like this:

On coach Rashad Evans’ team we have: James McSweeney, Brendan Schaub, Justin Wren, Jon Madsen, Roy Nelson, Darrill Schoonover, Matt Mitrione, and Mike Wessel.

On the overall less talented Quinton “Rampage” Jackson team we have: Kimbo Slice, Abe Wagner, Demico Rogers, Wes Sims, Scott Junk, Wes Shivers, Marcus Jones, and Zak Jensen.
