Aside from her assistant coaching job at Indiana University and attending Graduate school Monica Hargrove still continues to compete. The track and field athlete just attended the Golden Grand Prix in China. Representing the US, Hargrove placed 5th in the 400 meter event with a time of 50.89.
As a biography Monica Hargrove was born on the 30th of December in 1982. She hails from New Haven, Connecticut, and is now a resident of Washington, D.C. She is a graduate from Georgetown University. Monica is now attending Georgetown Graduate School studying public policy.
On top of her assistant coaching responsibilities Monica Hargrove continues to compete on an International level. To date, during her college and professional years, Hargrove was selected as an All American three times. She was also named 2003’s Big East Indoor Champion in the 500 meter event. Hargrove was a member of the distance medley relay team for three years and made All American Honors from 2002 through 2004.
In 2006 after graduation Monica Hargrove earned a silver medal for her performance at the Indoor World Championships with the US Team. She has also competed at the Boston Indoor Games, where she placed first in the 400 meter. In 2009 Monica went on to attend the Millrose Games. She placed first in the 600 meter event.
