It was the ladies turn to triumph on the live season 4 finale of Randy Jackson’s “ABDC”. The squad from LA We Are Heroes stomped out their competition AfroBoriké to reign supreme as the show’s most recent victors.

The all-girl crew competed against the mixed-gender AfroBorike for pride, glory, and a heaping wad of cash totaling $100,000. Now that they are equipped with not only the talent, but also the cash and recognition to back them up, I expect we should be seeing a lot more of this squad in the near future.

On last year’s season finale, we witnessed the all-boy crew Quest edge out their opponents, the all-girl Beat Freak to win the coveted title of “America’s Best Dance Crew”. This season We Are Heroes are extremely pleased to be the series first female winners.

While being interviewed by MTV, dancer Ali Iannucci exclaimed that:

“The first female crew, it’s like it’s like we took the whole title for all the girls who came on the show, who tried to win, we did it for them. We’re here. We made it. We’re just flabbergasted!”

And then she went on to say that it was her teams “destiny” to win.

Fans of the show need not worry, host Mario Lopez announced last night that “ABDC” would be returning to MTV for its fifth season.
