Katelyn Falgowski is having another great year! Find out more about the American Field Hockey Player who is both a player on the National team and the Tar Heels below.
Katelyn Falgowski is in the news again for her talents on the field. So far this year the Universty of North Carolina Tar Heel member has a total of fourteen assists and just keeps on going. This past weekend Falgowski and her team defeated Duke at the Atlantic Coast Conference opener and the Blue Devils with a score of 7-0!
As a biography Katelyn Falgowski was born in Wilmington, Delaware. Currently a resident of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, Falgowski was born on the 23rd of October in 1988. She is a graduate from St. Marks High school and is currently a student at the University of North Carolina who plays on the Tar Heels.
Katelyn has been playing field hockey on the National team since 2002 as a Forward. Her interest first began as an activity she had in common with her sisters. Eventually field hockey became more than just an extracurricular activity for Falgowski.
Narrowing her focus she has since managed to play in the USA Field Hockey’s Futures Program, become an AAV Jr. Olympic selection and a high school All American our times.
On an International level Falgowski has found great success. She has been a competitor in the Futures Elite and youngest to join the US team. Katelyn’s other credentials include competitions at the Pan American Junior Championships in both 2005 and 2007. She has also attended the Junior World Cup, the World Cup and the Holding Champions Challenge in 2007.
