Louise Friberg Is A Swedish Professional Golfer

Louise Friberg is currently competing at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge in Danville, California. She wrapped up the day with a 76. This season Friberg has career earnings of $34,090.00. Her peak performance was at the U.S. Women’s Open with a finish of T34.




As a biography Louise Friberg is a native of Sweden who stands at 5’5″. Friberg was born in 1980 on June 24th. Influenced by her mother at the early age of just nine years old Louise admits to her first love being horses. Eventually after a great deal of practice she warmed up to golf and enrolled in a youth program.

She is a Washington University graduate who attended full boat for her academic and athletic excellence. Friberg majored in Environmental Science. To date some of Louise’s victories include the 1997 Nordic Girls Junior Championships as well as a first and second team All Pac 10 selection. Friberg is a Rolex First Time winner as well as a Telia Tour trophy holder.

She has participated on the West Coast Ladies Golf Tour, the Telia Tour, the Futures Tour and the Ladies European Tour.

In 2008 Friberg joined the LPGA Tour. To date she has won the the Mastercard Classic, her first major win. At the Ricoh Womens British Open she finished T33.
