Professional Volleyball player Jane Collymore has been playing the game since her high school days. A University of Florida graduate, Collymore comes from a long line of athletes and is said to be one of the best players in Florida history. She is known for her intense commitment to the game. As a biography Jane Elizabeth Collymore is a professional Volleyball player on the US National team who was born on September 30, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. Collymore, who currently resides in Seattle, Washington, is a graduate from both Kent High School and the University of Florida. Jane has been playing with the Women’s team since 2005 as an Outside Hitter.
It was during her high school career that Collymore first took an interest in Volleyball. Soon she was a two time MVP, a 2000 RMR Regional All star and a member of the Junior National team. She attended the 2001 Junior Olympics and was also name All-Conference twice.
Collymore’s college achievements and awards include 2004 and 2005 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and a three-time AVCA All American.
Some of Collymore’s major international accomplishments include the 2005 Pan American Cup, the 2006 Grand Prix and the Azteca Cup. In 2009 Jane competed in the Pan American Cup and the FIVB World Championships.
