After two years at the University of California Los Angeles playing golf and focusing on her academics, Maria Jose Uribe has decided to leave early in an effort to persue her professional career. She has returned to her homeland of Bucaramanga, Colombia.

As a biography Maria Jose Uribe is a Professional Colombian golfer who was born on the 27th of February in 1990. As previously mentioned, Uribe was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia. She is a former University of California Los Angeles college student. Uribe stands at 5’6”.

To date Maria Uribe’s amateur golf awards and achievements include attending the AJGA Golf Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She was also a qualifier in the 2006, 2007 and 2008 United States Women’s Open. In 2007 she won the Women’s Amateur Open in Indiana. In the same year she went on to attend the 2007 U.S. Girls Juniors.

In 2009 Maria Jose Uribe turned professional. Uribe recently competed in the US Womens Open this year. She finished T58.
