Greg Anderson the 41-year-old personal trainer of Barry Bonds will not testify against Bonds. Anderson could be charged with criminal contempt if he refuses to cooperate with the government.
“When Greg left his cellblock, all the (male) inmates stood and cheered for him,” says Paula Canny, an attorney on Anderson’s legal team and the person who picked him up at FCI Dublin that night. “It was an amazing experience.
Anderson’s lawyers told the New York Daily News that he won’t turn on Barry Bonds.
“He’s never going to testify,” said his lead attorney Mark Geragos.
Unless the court has an undisclosed eyewitness who saw Bonds receive injections or heard him admit to steroid use, there is not much they can do.
