Professional Canadian Hurdler Priscilla Lopes-Schliep added a silver medal to her collection! Lopes-Schliep just recently competed in the World Track and Field Championships. The pro Hurdler ran the 100 metre hurdle event and came in with a time of 12.54 seconds.

Priscilla Lopes-Schliep Biography

As a biography Priscilla Lopes-Schliep is a native of Canada. She is 27 years of age, having been born on the 26th of August, 1982. Previously Priscilla attended the 2008 Summer Olympics. She successfully earned herself a bronze medal in the 100 metre hurdles event. This was Canada’s first medal scored since 1996.

Just recently Lopes-Schliep took home a silver medal after clocking in at a time of 12.54 seconds in the 100metre hurdles at the World Championships in Athletics. The event took place in Berlin, Germany.

After her win Priscilla Lopes-Schliep stated:

“Last year it was my very first time to actually stand on the podium and see the Canadian flag go up. I’m going to get to see the same again. It just sends chills through my body. Each experience is special in its own way. When you get to walk around that stadium with the flag on your back and you have people screaming and cheering, it’s not a better feeling. I work hard and train hard and it’s not easy. It’s very emotional.”

The Candian Hurdler reportedly treated herself to pizza an ice cream after her win!
