She is a Canadian Volleyball Player who currently plays on the Women’s US National Volleyball Team. Check out Foluke Akinradewo! Just recently she played an exceptional game in the FIVB World Grand Prix in Bangkok. Foluke managed to squash 8 out of 14 attempts made by Puerto Rico.

Foluke Akinradewo Biography

As a biography Foluke Atinuke Akinradewo is a Canadian Volleyball Player who was born on October 5, 1987 in Ontario, Canada. Akinradewo is currently an alternate on the Olympic Team. She is a citizen of Canada, Nigeria and the US.

Foluke attended the St. Aquinas High School in Florida where she excelled in Volleyball, Track & Field and Basketball. During her high school career Foluke was named All-American selection in both 2003 and 2004. From 2002 through 2004 she was also an All state selection.

After graduation Foluke enrolled at Stanford University where she continued to play Volleyball. To date during her college days so far Foluke has been named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, AVCA Freshman of he Year, First Team All-American and 2007 AVCA National Player of the Year.

Foluke Akinradewo’s other Volleyball accomplishments and awards include a three time winner of the Honda award, has competed in three NCAA tournaments and is a Pan American Games bronze medalist.
