We have the UFC 101 fight card and predictions for tonight’s highly anticipated event taking place at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, with the start time set for 10 p.m. ET. Also, learn more about the fights, plus you will find video and pictures here.

Anderson Silva

UFC 101 has big shoes to fill after all the impressive bouts that took place during UFC 100. Tonight’s Fight Card features a Lightweight Championship fight, BJ Penn (13-5-1) vs Kenny Florian (13-3).

This should turn out to be an all out brawl, and possibly one of the greatest title fights in recent history. Penn, who specializes in Jiu-Jitsu is amongst the top of the UFC fighters in flexibility, and is also spectacular at setting up submissions by creating leverage on the ground.
Florian is more multi-dimensional technician; his boxing has gotten better, his Muay Thai knees and elbows are devastating to opponents, and he is also highly capable in Jiu-Jitsu. According to sportsbookbettingpromotions.com the odds are Penn -230, Florian + 190.
Next up is Light Heavyweight Anderson Silva (24-4) vs Forrest Griffin (16-5).

Unlike the fight above the odds for this bout are much more lopsided. Anderson Silva is currently on a nine-fight win streak, and unless Griffin proves most of us wrong it should rise to 10 even after Silva’s jump in weight to 205 lbs. The odds are Silva -370, Griffin +295.
