Maurren Higa Maggi is a Brazilian Long Jumper from Sao Carlos. Maggi is also a gold medalist with a personal best of 7.26 metres. Read more about Maurren after the jump.




Maurren Higa Maggi Biography

As a biography Maurren Higa Maggi is a professional Brazilian Long Jumper who was born on June 25, 1976 in Sao Carlos, Brazil.

By 1999 alone Maggi has secured over seven medals for her talents. She has competed in several events from the South American Championships, Pan American Games to the Summer Olympics. Maurren Higga Maggi is not only a record holding long jumper she also competes in the triple jump event and the 100m hurdles as well.

Unfortunately Maurren was banned from competing back in 2003 after using anabolic steroids. A year later she was able to compete again.

She has since married and gave birth to a daughter. Most recently she competed in the 2009 Trofeu Brasil Caixa de Atletismo where she placed second under long jumper Keila Costa.
