The ESPN Summer X Games in Los Angeles have officially kicked off and so it goes without saying that professional motocross racer and gold medalist Tarah Gieger will be there! And according to Dirt Rider Magazine Gieger will be riding in style with a pair of “Scorpion MX hard 90/100-21 front tires and Scorpion MX Hard 120/80-19 rear tires.”
This will be Tarah Gieger’s return to racing since breaking her wrist in May at the FIM World Motocross Championship. The Women’s Moto X Super X kicks off this Saturday, August 1 at 6:15 p.m. For more on Tarah Gieger read her bio after the jump.
As a biography Tarah Gieger is a professional motocross racer who was born on September 18, 1985. Gieger is twenty-two years old and hails from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She has been riding since she was a child.
Tarah Gieger is the first woman to race in the Motocross of Nations and has also won the National Championships. She has attended the 2008 FIM World Motocross Championships, the Women’s Moto X competition at the ESPN X Games and many more. In her spare time when she isn’t racing Tarah surfs and visits her family in Puerto Rico. She is currently dating David Knight.
