Professional Romanian swimmer, Camelia Potec, just took home a bronze medal after competing at the Rome World Championships. Potec came in with a time of 15:55.63 in the 1,500 meter event! Learn more on Camelia Potec after the jump.




Camelia Potec Biography

As a biography Camelia Alina Potec is a professional Romanian swimmer who was born on February 19, 1982 in Braila. Potec is most notable for her talent in freestyle swimming and the stroke. She stands at 5’10”.

Camelia Potec is a 2004 Olympic gold medalist who won the 200m freestyle event. She also placed first in 2004 in the Mare Nustrum.

Potec currently belongs to the Club Liceul cu Program Sportiv and the Club Sportiv Municipal Braila.
