Here is video of Brock Lesnar apologizing during the post fight interview Sunday. See what the heavyweight champ had to say plus photos and video below.
Brock Lesnar’s win over Frank Mir Saturday night during UFC 100 was overshadowed by his actions and comments after the fight.
Video of the Brock Lesnar apology can be seen below, where he apologizes to fans and to UFC main sponsor Bud Light for his comments and actions after the fight.
Immediately after Lesnar’s win Saturday, he taunted Frank Mir, flipped off the crowd at Mandalay Bay, and said he would partake with a Coors Light beverage to celebrate his victory rather than UFC sponsor Bud Light “because Bud Light won’t pay me nothing”. He went on to say, “Hell, I may even get on top of my wife tonight.” His wife is former WWE Diva Rena “Sable” Mero. Funny enough though, Dana White, President of UFC, made sure there was a Bud Light sitting in front of Lesnar during the post fight interview/press conference.
“I want to apologize to (sponsor) Bud Light. I’m used to selling pay-per-view tickets. I came from a business that was purely entertainment. Dana came in and we had a whip-the-dog session. I apologize.”
White is considering bringing on Fedor Emelanenko as a worthy opponent to Lesnar, which undoubtedly would be a fight to watch. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this one comes to fruition.
