As a biography Jessica Ennis is a professional Heptathlete who was born on January 28, 1986 in Sheffield, England. She is a graduate from the King Ecgbert School and the University of Sheffield where she earned her degree in Psychology.
In 2003 Ennis first competed in the World Youth Championships and the 2004 World Junior Championships. A year later she hit her stride at the 2005 European Athletics Junior Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games where she earned herself a bronze medal.
In 2007 Jessica Ennis won the 100m hurdles and the long jump while competing at the World Championships. She went on to win the European Athletics Rise Star award in the same year ranking fourth in the Heptathlon world. Unfortunately in 2008 Jessica Ennis suffered from a fractured ankle that would leave her out of commission for twelve months as well as a chance to compete at the Beijing Olympics.
Currently Jessica Ennis is back and competing better than before. She recently won the IAA Combined Events Challenge.
