Chanda Rubin Biography

As a biography, Chanda Rubin is a tennis player from the United States who was born on
the 18th of February in 1976. Rubin is a right handed player who stands at 5’7″ and weighs 130ibs.

Chanda Rubin has made it all the way to World No.6, joining the ranks of only two other African American women to make it into the top ten, Zina Garrison and Lori McNeil. Rubin has competed in the French Open in 1995, 2000, and 2003. She has also attended the 1996 Australian Open and the 2006 U.S. Open, where she lost to World No. 9 Nicole Vaidišová 6–4, 6–3.

Even while dealing with a series of injuries, Chanda Rubin has defeated some of the Professional tennis world’s top players like Gabriela Sabatini, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, Lindsay Davenport, Justine Henin, Amélie Mauresmo and Serena Williams.
