French tennis player Virginie Razzano is gearing up to compete at Wimbledon against Marion Bartoli of France or Francesca Schiavone of Italy. For more on Virginie Razzone read her biography below.




Virginie Razzano Biography

As a biography Virginie Razzano is a French professional tennis player who was born on May 12, 1983 in Dijon, France. Razzano currently ranks at World No. 23 since June 22, 2009. She has defeated top seeds like Martina Hingis back in 2006 at the US Open, Daniela Hantuchova at the ASB Classic, Tzzipora Obziler and Venus Williams at the Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo.

Virginie Razzano has competed in 2007 Wimbledon, the 2009 Australian Open, the 2009 Barclays in Dubai Tennis Championships and Eastbourne.

In 2009 Virginie suffered from an injury to her lower back. She had to skip a tournament in Birmingham. Razzano is currently headed into the fourth round at Wimbledon and will compete against Marion Bartoli or Francesca Shlavone.
