In celebration of Father’s Day, professional skateboarder Tony Hawk took a ride through the Grand Foyer of the White House this past Friday. Read more on Tony Hawk’s skateboarding adventure below and see video and photos after the jump.
With special permission from White House officials, Tony Hawk took a rip through the mansion’s Grand Foyer and Old Executive Office Building.
Hawk’s trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave took place this past Friday when President Barack Obama hosted a special Father’s Day event. While there skateboarding at the White House, Tony Hawk wrote on his Twitter page:
“…and here is my exit,” he wrote in a message on Twitter, which linked to a picture of him skating. “Supposed to return at noon for the First Fathers event if they let me back in.”
Also at the White House Father’s Day picnic was chef Bobby Flay, Dwayne Wade, Eaton Thomas and many more.
