French tennis star Julie Coin is headed to compete at Wimbledon. This marks the professional player’s first career appearance. Coin will be up against Dominika Cibulkova on June 22nd. Read more about Julie Coin after the jump.




Julie Coin Biography

As a biography Julie Coin is a professional tennis player who hails from France. She is 26 years of age, being born on the 2nd of December, 1982. She’s a numbers whiz, having graduated from Clemson University with a Math Degree.

The highlight of Julie Coin’s career took place at the the 2008 French Open women’s doubles tournament when she beat World No.1 Ana Ivanović. At the time of her win she ranked World No. 188, she currently ranks at No. 64.

Just recently Julie Coin competed at the 2009 Brisbane International where she lost to Amélie Mauresmo. Soon after she attended the 2009 Australian Open, beating Elena Vesnina.
