Poor Cali Kaltschmidt. She’s the 18-year-old Auburn High School cheerleader who got run over by her school’s football team last Friday. Ouch! You can see the video below.
“It’s not something I’d want to be known for I guess, I mean it was really embarrassing.
At halftime, she noticed that there was something wrong with the banner. She thought that it was hoisted up at an angle and it wasn’t quite ready for the team to run through it, so she ran out to try to fix it. Before she knew it, 50 football players came barreling through the sign, getting hit by Zach Tate, a 6-foot-tall, 245 pound linebacker. He didn’t even know what he hit in the beginning, he thought he had just slipped and fell. He did apologize to Cali after the game. Heh.
Luckily she was crowned Homecoming Queen before the direct hit…
