Meet Tomoyo Matsuzaka, hot wife of Red Sox Pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka. See her pictures below.

Tomoyo (Shibata) Matsuzaka, used to be a former announcer for Nippon Television Network

Tomoyo Matsuzaka was born December 23, 1974 in Chikushino, Fukuoka, Japan. She met Daisuke Matsuzaka during the 2000 Sydney Olympics, they got married in 2005, and the couple has one daughter. Before they got married, she was a well known TV news personality. Her career came when she covered the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup.

She is 5 years older than her husband (she’s 32, he’s 27), this fact was viciously criticized in the Japanese media. They said Tomoyo Matsuzaka seduced Daisuke when they met in 2000, looking at the fact that he was only 19 years old at that time. Because of the difference in their ages, they dated secretly.

This caused a huge scandal, that erupted when it came out that Matsuzaka’s car had been towed for being illegally parked overnight in front of Tomoyo’s house. He did not have a valid drivers license at the time, as it was suspended for speeding a couple weeks prior to the incident. The car was owned by the Seibu Lions, someone tried to cover up the offense which was blown by a tabloid whose photojournalist recorded the whole incident. Matsuzaka paid 195,000 yen in fine and was suspended for a few games.
