Tiger Woods just keeps on getting richer and richer. It has been confirmed that Tiger has signed a five year deal with Gatorade that could net him an astounding $100 million dollars.

This is a licensing deal, not an endorsement deal, which means that Tiger will also get a piece of the pie (sales) in exchange for Gatorade using his name and image on their products.

The Gatorade Tiger Woods Thirst Quencher will debut in March 2008. It will be available in three flavors (selected by Tiger): cherry blend, citrus blend, and grape.

Tiger expressed on his website:

“Gatorade has been part of my game plan for years, whether I’m training or competing, so this is an ideal match. Gatorade is a winning brand with a proven formula and the science to back it up. That’s why I wanted to partner with them. I’m eager to launch my first signature produce in a few months and look forward to developing additional sports performance beverages with Gatorade in the coming years.”

With this new deal, it moves Tiger Woods closer to 1 billion dollars in career endorsements.
