As a biography, Ketia Marie Swanier was born on August 10, 1986 in Columbus, Georgia. Swanier, height 5’7″, is a professional basketball player for the Connecticut Sun.
Swanier attended college at UConn and was the only freshman to open a season as the team’s starting point guard. In her senior year she was awarded the Big East Sixth Man of the Year award.
In 2008 Ketia was picked up by the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA draft. She is currently playing for the Rybnik in Poland.
