Since the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals play tonight, let’s go ahead and spotlight the San Francisco 49ers Cheerleaders – The Gold Rush. You can see photos, video, and a biography of The Gold Rush Squad here.

e2k sports founded the Gold Rush in 1983. e2k is known worldwide as the forerunner in sports entertainment. They have been producing entertainment for the San Francisco 49ers for over 25 years. The cheerleaders were named the “Gold Rush” to celebrate the millions of people who came to California in hopes of finding gold.

The Gold Rush has a longstanding reputation of being one of the best dance teams in the NFL. Many of the girls hold down full time jobs in addition to being involved with the Gold Rush. Brains go along with their beauty, as some of these girls are doctors, teachers, marketing directors, and presidents of their own companies.

The Gold Rush is known worldwide because of their dance style and make over 300 appearances year round. Women from around the globe come to San Francisco each year to audition for a spot on The Gold Rush team, coming from as far as Hawaii and Tokyo, Japan.

Charity work is near and dear to the Gold Rush team, as they are recognized throughout the San Francisco area for their dedication and volunteer work with such organizations as the March of Dimes, Special Olympics, Susan Komen Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and the American Diabetes Association, just to name a few.
