Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez watch a fashion show to support the AROD Family Foundation.
Alex Rodriguez was caught looking at the ladies again, but this time it wasn’t in a stray moment, it was for a good cause. Alex and his wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, hosted a fashion show and luncheon fundraiser on Wednesday to benefit the AROD Family Foundation. AFF supports underprivileged children in New York and Miami, which is the hometown of both Alex and Cynthia.
Alex spoke briefly to the crowd, lauded praise on Suzyn Waldman (who is the first female full time MLB broadcaster) and then handed the mic over to his wife, Cynthia. She thanked the sponsors of the event – Paul Labrecque Salon (whom she touts as being responsible for her hair and makeup – “she wouldn’t look like this without them”), Graff Diamonds, and designer Nicolas Felizola (in which models strutted their stuff in his Spring 2008 collection).
Immediately after the fashion show, Alex had an MRI done on his right ankle, then later that night hit two home runs in the 7th inning to beat the Mariners, 10-3. He is the first Yankee to have a double homer in one inning in more than 30 years. He definitely ended his night on a high note.
