Melanie Slade, who is dating Arsenal soccer player Theo Walcott, has got a role in the next Harry Potter movie Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part One. This is her first movie role.
Melanie is thrilled. She said: ‘I had a couple of lines to say. I’d love to do more acting.’
She will be playing a friend of Hermione Grainger (Emma Watson) and shares the screen space with her during a scene of the airborne broomstick game Quidditch. She also has some lines to say in the movie.
Apparently, Theo’s aunt Yvonne is a partner of the director of the movie David Yates and that’s how Melaine got the break.
The Southampton-based lady, who is studying to get a physiotherapy degree, has been critical of other WAGs as she thinks that these women are just a bunch of shopaholics who like to do nothing and show off their expensive possessions. She has been trying to get a good employment stream and has now found a way to get that.
Meanwhile, the next Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released in July this year.
