Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen got married to NFL star Tom Brady in a quiet wedding ceremony held in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Monica on Thursday. The reception at the couple’s Brentwood home was attended by close friends and family.
The New England Patriots quarterback and the Brazilian supermodel wed just before 6 p.m. at St. Monica’s church, less than a mile from the beach. Brady’s 1 ½ son, John Edward Thomas, was present at the wedding.
Brady and Gisele got engaged just last month among much anticipation. They have been dating for almost three years and are one of the most celebrated couples in the world of sports and fashion.
Although, both Gisele and Brady have been involved in romantic relationships before, this is the first marriage for both of them. While Gisele dated Leonardo DiCaprio in 2005, Brady was involved with actress Bridget Moynahan, with whom he broke-up when she got pregnant. He has a son named John Edward Thomas with Bridget.
The full details of the wedding are not currently available and no official word has been given by either of the two’s representatives. One of the friends said this after the quiet engagement ceremony:
“The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home.”
A possibility of a grand post-wedding reception cannot be ruled out and we would be looking forward to the function.
