Jason Caffey: NBA Player

Meet Jason Caffey, an American professional basketball player who has played for the Chicago Bulls of National Basketball Association (NBA). See a video and a biography of Jason Caffey here.

An Atlanta judge has recently ordered for Caffey to be arrested as he failed to pay more than $200,000 in child support to the mother of his six-year old son. Caffey had earlier applied for bankruptcy but his application was denied.

“We’ve been trying to get his attention and this should do it,” said Lorunda Brown’s attorney, Randy Kessler. Kessler said Brown is the mother of Caffey’s 6-year-old son.

As a biography, Jason Caffey was born in June 12, 1973 in Mobile, Alabama so his age is 35. He attended the University of Alabama and was selected by the Bulls as the 20th overall pick of the 1995 NFL draft. he had a wonderful career in Chicago, winning two championship rings and averaging 7.3 points per game.

Caffey was traded to the Golden State Warriors in 1997 and he later signed a $35m seven-year contract in 1999. He averaged 12.0 points over there before moving on to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2000. he played for three seasons with them but his career was cut short because of an anxiety attack and an assault charge in 2003. Bucks bought out his last two years of the contract and since he hasn’t played a game in NBA.

Jason had filed for bankruptcy in 2007 and has ten children from eight different women.
