Swedish TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, who is popularly known for her alleged affair with former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson, has won Celebrity Big Brother 2009. She defeated actor Terry Christian in the final round and came out as a winner from the house, with tears in her eyes.
‘I only packed enough panty-liners for 2 weeks,’ she told Davina MCall, who congratulated the mum-of-4 on her performances in the tasks,
‘My highlight was singing with Vernon,’ Ulrika admitted. ‘He’s such a perfectionist.’
Jonsson’s win has come as a shock for the bookmakers who had predicted Hollywood actor Verne Troyer to win the show. Troyer finished on the fourth place behind rapper Coolio on the third.
Ulrika described her experience of living in the Big Brother house for 22 days, as ‘the weirdest experience of her entire life’, although, in my opinion she had her best days while the show was on. She had been given the most amount ever paid to a Big Brother contestant and she also created quite a buzz with her recital of soccer-lover stories on the show. Her life seems to be back on track now.
She looked quite bossy in the first week of the show and was predicted to be voted out very early. But, things went her way with other chemistries in play in the house full of celebrities.
‘My husband says I’m bossy all the time. I am. In my defence, I have to organise four children so things have to be like that.’
