Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade’s divorce from his wife Siohvaughn is turning into a pretty big deal. The proceedings might cost the NBA star more than he had anticipated, now that his wife alleges that besides committing adultery and abandoning his children, Wade also infected her with an unspecified sexually transmitted disease.
Dwyane’s Windy City attorney, James Pritikin, issued a statement: “These malicious allegations are absolutely false and we look forward to the opportunity to dispute them in court.”
Siohvaughn is technically not trying to sue Dwayne. She wants the names of all his sexual partners during their six years of marriage, one of whom might have been responsible for the disease! Now, apart from the all the finances that he would have had to handle… Dwayne’s all off-the-court business is about to be revealed in public.
She also says she has suffered ”grievous physical, emotional and mental injury” from the STD, diagnosed in the fall of ’07. Dwyane and his ”paramour or paramours” are liable, she alleges. ‘Dwyane must disclose the identity of all of his sexual partners during the parties’ marriage.”
Now that is not good, at least for a person who was chosen as the ‘Father of the Year” in 2007 by the National Father’s Day Committee. The All-Star has two boys from this marriage and has been linked to actress Gabrielle Union before.

I think by all means he should disclose that information, hell there’s no telling what else she could have gotten from him. He makes millions of $$ per year and HE SHOULD be taking care of his wife and kids…. If all that other information that was in the articles about the money that was and is being spent so sad that he has not been taking care of his kids. And so what if she moved to another stare, not like he doesnt have the money to go see them! Just another loser with deep pockets, who would prefer to get laid then take care of his OWN KIDS!

I am sure he is taking care of his kids. If I married to a woman, and she decides to abandon me, and move to another state, she is the one that cause the marriage to break up. I am sure he would have prefered to get laid by his wife. But like my father always told me, no job is left undone, therefore, if she is not doing it someone else will.

this is really a sad situation for the two kids. basketball players really get a bad rep. and it is a nasty mess for this wife to have to suffer with stds because her HUSBAND can not control himself. his rep. is so bad now that its a shame and if he had sex with gabrielle union and it comes out wow how bad that is going to look on her. d-wade u have gotten urself in a whole lot of mess

It’s a sad set of events when your most scared partner in life violates you in the worse way. Dwayne didn’t even have the decency to use protection while conquering his sexual exploits!I imagine this is the only man she’s every really been with and to find out that he has no respect for her nor himself to even get caught-up. No amount of money in the world will heal her wounded heart and soul.

To LadyBugs comment “It’s a sad set of events when your most scared partner in life violates you in the worse way.” This is really a part of the problem. To believe that the worst thing that one spouse can do to the other is have sex with someone else is in and of itself a control issue on the part of the offending spouse. While Dwayne and any person for that matters decision to go outside of the marriage is in and of itself reprehensible, that is not the worst thing that can happen. The truth is that bad things have already happened and the cheating is only a manifestation of other issues that need attention. But because all of the emphasis is on the manifestation no one pays attention to what is happening inside. Dwayne and his wife have/had some real serious issues on both their parts. Dwaymes ha splayed out in the form of adultery how have hers played out. I do not agree at all with him reevealing the names of sex partners that is more internal stuff which does not deal with the real issue.

if you comit adultery and destroy anothers life then too bad, you got what is coming to you and deal w/ that humiliation of having to release names. ive been a huge marquette fan for over 12 years and he and kobe now have been shot way down in respect in my book. another typical male athlete.

i know one of the girls that d-wade conquered. i worked with her as a stripper and i suspect she gave me something a long time ago in my younger exploits. last time i heard of her d-wade flew her to miami for the weekend. that was a few months ago in like august.
by the way im not taking sides but my girl is way badder than siohvaughn. but that in no way excuses dwades activities

Charges were dropped, so all of you that were so quick to rush to judgment need to learn to sit back, research, and digest a story before you make a ridiculous claim. What you have here is a big name mixed with a JUICY story and now everyone wants to add their two cents to the conversation. Its frustrating because people NEVER seem to care to get the facts straight. What people should be doing is praying for him and his family (estranged wife included) instead of starting the “another nba athlete with deep-pockets” garbage. Hope some of you people learn to think through before you comment…

Funny how everyone assumes he is guilty or that it is her fault already. People who read this stuff are so quick to believe everything they read. What if this wife cheated on him and got her “supposed” std from her own escapade. I am not stupid enough to believe any of this story until much later. But let the haters and the biased readers jump all over them both. It is easy to jump the gun.
