Elin was born January 1, 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden. She has a twin sister, Josefin. Her mother served as Sweden’s migration minister and her father is a radio journalist.
Elin and her sister Josefin were working as nannies for Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik when he introduced Elin to Tiger Woods during the 2001 British Open. In November 2003, Elin and Tiger attended the Presidents Cup tournament in South Africa and Tiger proposed to her at Shamwari Game Reserve. Elin and Tiger were married on October 5, 2004 by the 19th hole of the Sandy Lane Golf Resort in Barbados. Their wedding cost a reportedly $1.5 to $2 million dollars. Their wedding was attended by such high profile guests as Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and Bill Gates.
They reside in an 8 bedroom, 9 bath home in Isleworth, which is a private gated community southwest of Orlando, Florida. It has a boat dock, fireplace, swimming pool, and spa.
Their first child, Sam Alexis Woods, was born on June 18, 2007.

Wonderful trophy wife… just what a man of color wants! BTW, any man with a twin wife automatically wants the other twin… where is she? Get over the “cheating thing” in America. Tiger should have gotten him a nice submissive Thai wife and his life would have been problem-free. He could even have a “mia noi.”
