So who is Pam Oliver? As a biography, she was born in Dallas in 1961, home of the Dallas Cowboys. She was a U.S. Army brat following her father’s military career around the country.
She was a star female athlete while attending Niceville High School, where she played tennis, basketball, and track and field. Pam graduated from Florida A&M University where she was a track and field athlete. In fact, she was a college All-American in both the 400-meter and the mile relay. She qualified for the U.S. Olympic track and field team but quit the opportunity to pursue sports journalism full-time.
Pam Oliver he has worked the sidelines for ESPN and is currently a sideline sports reporter for televised Fox Sports’ NFL games. She also has worked some NBA Playoff games.
She has fought female stereotypes trying to work the locker rooms in male-dominated sports. Dallas Cowboys wide-receiver Keyshawn Johnson once said that she “Pam Oliver needs a spanking.” We hope that she has a better year than that bad boy.
