Meet Danyelle Sargent, who has had her share of oops moments while covering sports as a sideline reporter for the Fox Sports Network. See her latest video, biography and photos here.
She thought the very deceased Bill Walsh was quite alive while interviewing 49ers coach Mike Singletary on October 26th 2008 before a home loss. See the hilarious video below but it was not the first time controversy has pursued her on-air.
“I heard that your mentor Bill Walsh was one of the first phone calls that you made when you found out that you had the job. What does it mean to you to be the head coach of the 49ers?”
The interview was abruptly cut short, apparently when a producer explained through her earphone that the immortal Bill Walsh was mortal enough to have died on July 30, 2007. The video did not air, which is good news for her but the video was mistakenly left as an “open feed” tape available to the news media where it was discovered.
As a biography, Danyelle Sargent was born in 1978 which makes her 30 years old in 2008. Her measurements and weight are unknown, while she currently resides in Los Angeles California. She neither smokes nor drinks, and has not posed for nude pictures as far as we know.
She graduated from a sports tradition at Florida State University, which made her a natural for the wide world of sports reporting. Danyelle’s first reporting gig out of college was for WGXA, in Macon, Georgia. She subsequently worked for Metro Sport in Kansas City Missouri, but she was quickly noticed by the major networks.
Ms. Sargent was hired by ESPN in 2004 for various assignments including the network show “Cold Pizza.” It was there that her first infamous on-air embarrassment occurred but it really was not her fault. After repeated technical difficulties, she said on air “What the fvck was that?” except that she pronounced the swear word better. That incident occurred in March 2006.
Danyelle Sargent began on the FSN Fox Sports Network in November 2006 where she has performed admirably until the blunder on Sunday.
She is attractive and will bounce right back. No need to feel sorry or worry about her.
The video is disappearing all over the net for understandable reasons. We’ll let you know if it surfaces legitimately, in which case you will be able to see it here.

For the time being this is a hilarious mistake by Pam Oliver.
