Camilla is said to be the ‘Anna Kournikova’ of badminton and was also featured on the cover of many fashion magazines. She is now retired.
As a biography, Camilla Martin was born on March 23, 1974 in Aarhus, Denmark so her age is 34. She had won almost thirteen Danish championships.
Camilla is also one of the only two Denish players to win both All-England and World singles titles. The other one is Lene Køppen. She was the gold medalist in the All-England in 2002. She is also the winner of Copenhagen Masters for five times, the last one coming in 2001.
Martin, who is said to be always smiling and very straightforward, won the New Zeland Open almost six times. Her most memorable victory came in the 2000 Olympics, when she won the silver medal losing to Gong Zhichao of People’s Republic of China in the final. In the 2004 Olympics, Camilla was kicked out by Tracey Hallam of Great Britain in only the second round.
