Elizabeth Putnam: Canadian Figure Skater

Meet Elizabeth Putnam, a Canadian professional figure skater who has been consistently performing well in the National Championships and is seen as the future of Canadian skating. See photos, video and a biography of Elizabeth Putnam here.

Elizabeth will be performing in the singles events for the first time this season. She has been skating in pairs for almost 16 years now.

As a biography, Elizabeth Putnam was born on November 28, 1984 in Toronto, Ontario so her age is 23. She has been coached by Jill Marie Harvey and choreographed by Peter Tchernyshev. Putnam is skating since the age of five.

Elizabeth has been performing in pairs with fellow skater Sean Wirtz since 2002. The couple has been performing in the Canadian Championships from 2003. they were ranked 6th overall in the 2007 edition. After that, they ended their relationship and now Putnam will skate in the singles.

She stood third in the Four Continents Championships 2006 and has the experience of taking part in the 2003 Bofrost Cup on Ice, 2004 Cup of Russia, 2004 Skate America and 2003 MasterCard Skate Canada International. though she doesn’t has any titles in her kitty but going by her age, she has been an exceptional figure skater. Her personal best score is 160.46 and she has been a member of Kerrisdale FSC club.

Besides skating, Putnam likes to read, and listening to music. She trains at Ice House.
