Meet the San Diego Chargers Cheerleaders, aka the “Charger Girls”. They are smokin’ hot, aren’t they? See photos, video and read a biography of the cheerleaders below.
The San Diego Chargers Cheerleaders, aka the Charger Girls, are our Right Fielders Hotties of the Day. Given their performance throughout the evening during Monday Night Football, I’d say they are one of the better cheerleading squads in the NFL, and, according to my husband, probably one of the hottest teams out there.
The Charger Girls cheered their team on to a victory over the New York Jets in a 48-29 win at Qualcomm Stadium.
As a biography, The Charger Girls were organized in 1990. The current squad is 28 members strong and is made up of women who are college students, professional entertainers and professional career women.
The San Diego Chargers Cheerleaders participate in numerous charitable events throughout their community. Make-A-Wish Foundation, Junior Seau Foundation, American Diabetes Association and D.A.R.E. are just some of the many charities they devote their time and energy to.
The Charger Girls have traveled internationally, taking them to places such as Japan, Australia, Germany and Sydney, just to name a few.
Since their inception in 1990, the Charger Girls have been recognized by Sport Magazine as the “Best Cheerleaders in the NFL”, and appeared in several television shows as well.
Lisa Simmons, a former Charger Girl during 2002 – 2004, serves as Director of the San Diego Charger Girls. She is a trained dancer and started training as a cheerleader when she was 10 years old. Lisa also is Associate Producer for e2k Sports, which is an entertainment and events firm that also manages the Charger Girls.
