Alisa Kleybanova Is Russian Tennis Hot

Meet Alisa Kleybanova, a Russian professional tennis player who gave a pretty tough fight to Lindsay Davenport in the second round of U.S. Open singles event. See photos, video and a biography of Alisa Kleybanova here.

Alisa played some very beautiful strokes in the match against Lindsay though the American had the final say. This was her first time in the Open.

As a biography, Alisa Kleybanova was born on 15 July 1989 in Moscow, Russia so her age is just 19. She started playing professional tennis since the age of 14 and even the ITF tournament she enterd in.

Alisa has a career high ranking of 34 which she achieved on 21 July 2008. Her best performances have been going to the finals of two Tier-2 tournaments and reaching the fourth round of Wimbledon. Alisa has gone to the second rounds of both Australian and French Open. She has almost eight ITF titles to her name.

Though she doesn’t has many impressive wins to her account, consider her age and her career record of 139-53, Alisa is seen as a bright prospect for the future of Russian tennis.
