Sanders has truly turned her sport celebrity into an entertainment career having hosted at least three shows Skating With Celebrities, Figure it Out and The Sports List.
As a biography, Summer Sanders was born on October 13, 1972 in Roseville, California so her age is 35. She attended Stanford University and got her first big breakthrough while winning three gold medals at the 1990 Goodwill Games.
Sanders was the NCAA Swimmer of the Year consecutive times. She won two golds in the 1992 Olympics in the 200-meter butterfly and the 400-meter medley relay events and one silver in the 200-meter individual medley.
The pretty swimmer also appeared in two movies after her phenomenal success named Broken Record (1997) and Jerry Maguire (1996). She also has one book to her credit, Champions Are Raised, Not Born: How My Parents Made Me A Success, published in 1999.
She married Mark Henderson, an Olympic swimmer, on July 4, 1997 but got divorced four years later. She re-married in 2005 and has two children. Sanders is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
